A contemporary glass pavilion next door to noted architect Martin Gruber's private farm residence, this organic, free-form structure floats above the Tinne Valley in dramatic South Tyrol. Neuhardenberg Castle Ensemble includes the castle itself, the castle park, which is one of the most beautiful in Germany, the former coach house, where the hotel is now housed, the former distillery, today the homestead, the Orangerie, two cavalier houses and its own church named after its builder Schinkel Church. The well-known Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781 – 1841) was also the one who rebuilt the castle in 1820 and created today's neoclassical form.
